- June 1, 2008: Dragon Boat Festival: We paid homage to our ancestors, had a buffet lunch followed by a general meeting. Dinner was held at New Canton Restaurant in Sacramento. We had 17 tables and good food was had by all.
- March 30,2008: We welcomed in the Year of the Rat and celebrate the Spring Festival on this day. A dim sum luncheon was held at the office. Our senior citizen members who are 75 and over received lucky red envelopes and had their pictures taken. In the evening, there was a dinner banquet at Rice Bowl Restaurant for all members, families and guests.
